Laid Off to Social Media Marketing Agency Owner

After getting laid off twice in one year, our Founder and CEO, Emily Escobar, decided to take a break from the job search and started focusing on her skills and brand. 

While working a part-time job as a Spa Coordinator at a local hotel, Emily spent her free time building her personal brand across all her social media platforms. It took time, but she was able to build up a following. From there, Emily started promoting her social media marketing services, and eventually, she started signing clients and gaining momentum. 

Ten months later, she was able to quit my part-time job and go all in on her social media agency. And on October 3, 2024, she officially filed her LLC and Sunrise Social was brought to life. 🌅
